At the end of the world, yet only 30 minutes from Innsbruck. Perched at 1,700 meters, Praxmar is a peaceful retreat nestled in the heart of the Tyrolean mountains. No ski lifts, après-ski, or lifestyle hype. Instead, plenty of nature, fresh mountain air, and the freedom to experience winter entirely at your own pace.

Whether it’s a cozy room at the Alpine inn, an apartment with more privacy, or simply a good meal in one of our dining rooms: everyone finds their place here. We serve whatever our own farm and the region have to offer. Right on our doorstep, you’ll find natural toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails, and some of the most beautiful ski tours in the Sellraintal valley.

At 1,700 meters, you don’t have to do anything. You can just be.

This is what Praxmar feels like

Praxmar is one of the most beautiful starting points for ski tours in the Sellraintal Valley. With classics like the Zischgeles and the Lampsenspitze, some of Tyrol’s most impressive peaks are right on your doorstep. No ski lifts or the hustle and bustle of the slopes—just plenty of nature and the freedom to experience winter at your own pace.

This is also the perfect spot for sledding. A total of over 11 kilometers of groomed winter hiking trails and natural sledding runs wind through the snow-covered mountains. You can rent the right sled right here at our house. And for those who prefer skiing downhill? The free ski bus takes you to the nearby Kühtai ski area and back four times a day.
