Suspension bridge

The starting point for this tour is the paid parking lot at Alpengasthof Lüsens in the picturesque Lüsenstal valley. From there, you first follow the Forsteinweg trail down the valley, always with the imposing Lüsener Fernerkogel in view.

At the material cable car to the Westfalenhaus, turn left and hike to the start of the newly created path. You will soon see the impressive waterfall and the newly built bridge. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required on the way up, as there are some steel steps to negotiate.

After crossing the Hüngebrücke, you will be impressed by the power of the thundering glacier water from the Lüsener Ferner above. The trail continues over a few hairpin bends to the small plateau, the Lüsenerblick viewing platform.

In summary, this tour covers around 600 meters in altitude and a distance of 3.5 kilometers. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required.
