Family Melmer

For generations, the Melmer family has run the Alpengasthof Praxmar traditionally and in harmony with nature. As a family, they pull together and always make sure that their guests have a relaxed and enjoyable vacation. The family also likes to sit with their guests and chat over a good glass of wine.

While Renate and Andrea are usually busy at the reception or in the service, Alois (better known as Luis) takes care of everything that happens outdoors. As a passionate hunter, he loves to be out in the forest where he feeds and watches wild animals or takes care of the Haflinger breeding of the Alpengasthof. He is assisted diligently by his grandson Samuel, who is in no way inferior to his grandfather when it comes to knowledge of nature. His wife Maria, the good-hearted soul of the house, works in the service and helps wherever urgent help is needed.
